5 of my Favourite London Restaurants
The places to go for a memorable dining experience and most importantly, what to order!
There are 5 of my all time favourite restaurants in London (as of December 2024). These are the places I go back to time and time again, that I take my loved ones, go to to celebrate at and recommend to anyone wanting a special evening. The food is divine, the decor and setting just gorgeous and I’ve never had a bad experience at! Most are on the slightly higher price bracket but there are some more affordable options and many of them are good for sharing small plates too (so it could be cheaper if you wanted!). Without further ado…
Cassecroute, Bermondsey Street
Cassecroute is such a hidden gem that hardly anyone knows about and I’d love to keep it that way, but it’s too good not to share. It’s a very intimate bistro restaurant, seating only 20 people, serving up rustic French cuisine and wine. My favourite thing about Cassecroute is: there’s a new menu daily based on the produce secured by the kitchen that morning, and the menu is written up (in French) on a chalk board for service. You’ll never have the same thing twice, and whatever you order is guaranteed to be so delicious & memorable.
Because the restaurant is so small, you absolutely must book in advance, but you’re guaranteed to leave feeling satisfied!
