My Solo trip to Oxford
Everything I got up to on a 6 hour trip to Oxford from London - where to eat, visit + shop!
As part of my Solo Dates with Kate series where I push myself out of my comfort zone and treat myself to a solo date as a way to build confidence, I decided to book myself a trip away from London. Oxford seemed like the perfect city day trip which involves a little bit of everything I love - good food, vintage shopping, beautiful architecture, old pubs and riverside cafess.
On a very sunny Thursday I jumped on a train from Marylebone and here is everything I got up to, and would recommend doing in 6 hours in this beautiful city.
Visit Gloucester Green Outdoor Market
From Wednesday to Saturday in a square about a 10 minute walk from Oxford train station is a bustling market with stalls selling everything from vintage clothing, crochet items, antiques and collectables as well as a nice selection of street food stalls! After a quick rummage in the vintage fashion stall in the corner I found two beautiful suede jackets for an absolute steal - I would love to go back and browse for longer!
