What's On London, March 2025
From adult arcades, pancake races + weird and wacky evenings out and pop ups, here's my round up of what to do in London in March!
This post was a hefty one to put together, I think because spring is on the way and London seems to be coming to life again after a couple of dreary months! We also have two big events in March, namely Pancake Day (4th March) and of course Mother’s Day on 30th March, so I’ve put together a round up of ideas for each of those too, alongside some disco events, weird and quirky talks, arcade evenings out and more! Without further ado…
Pancake Day, Across London, 4th March
Whether you're a classic lemon-and-sugar lover or a fan of indulgent chocolate-drizzled stacks, London’s got the perfect pancake spot for you. Here are some of my personal fav top picks:
My Old Dutch, (Holborn + Chelsea) - huge flat pancakes that come either sweet or savoury (my fav is the Asparagus which comes topped with creamed spinach and black olives!)
Sunday in Brooklyn (Notting Hill), for THOSE viral Nutella panacakes!
Christopher’s (Covent Garden) – This restaurant has an entire menu dedicated to pancakes on Tuesday 4th March including a Lotus biscoff star and Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes.
Bourne and Hollingsworth - I love the Stacked American Pancakes for brunch at this spot, they’re only available on the weekend so if you can’t make it on Tuesday, you can celebrate on Saturday!

Daisy Green (Across London) - my favourite Aussie brunch collective serve up delicious fluffy stacked Blue berry pancakes at most of their branches for brunch and lunch, so whether you’re in Victoria, Barbican, Regents Street, Paddington, Liverpool Street, you’ll be able to grab them there!
Greenwich Pancake Race (link)- at 12pm on pancakes day it’s free to enter Greenwich market’s pancake race, hosted by two Pearly Queens! If you’re in the area this could be a laugh!
Leadenhall Pancake Race - another pancake race, this time in one of my favourite hidden gems, Leadenhall Market. The 18th century Pub the Lamb Tavern will start their race at 12.30pm - register before hand here!
Barbican Conservatory is back open, Barbican, free, link
The beautiful Barbican Conservatory is open again after being closed for the winter. Tickets available for the month ahead at the start of each month and best of all, they’re free! This has got to be one of the most beautiful sights in London, it’s a real tropical oasis in a concrete garden with over 1500 species of plants and trees - super romantic and great for a day date too!
